FC YOUTH VALUES

1. WE DESIRE FOR STUDENTS TO WALK IN THEIR IDENTITY AS A FOLLOWER OF JESUS: At Faith Chapel Youth, we are dedicated to nurturing and empowering our students to fully embrace their identity in Christ. Romans 8:19 beautifully reminds us that "For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed." Indeed, the world eagerly anticipates the emergence of God's children, who will confidently embrace their divine identity and carry forth the Kingdom of God.

2. WE DESIRE FOR STUDENTS TO BE IN LOVE WITH THE WORD OF GOD: In today’s world, understanding scripture is vitally important. The Word of God is unwavering and serves as our life's guide. As 2 Timothy 3:16 states, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” Planting these teachings within our hearts is imperative to fulfill the divine purpose of advancing the Kingdom of God.

3. WE DESIRE FOR OUR STUDENTS TO HAVE A BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW RATHER THAN A WORLDY VIEW: We live a culture that often stands in contrast to our core beliefs as followers of Christ. Our mission is to equip the next generation to approach every situation with a steadfast commitment to a biblical worldview. Each decision we make should be rooted in the bedrock of biblical principles and values. Romans 12:2 serves as a reminder, urging us, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing, and perfect will." It is through this transformation of our minds that we can effectively advance the Kingdom of God.

4. WE DESIRE FOR STUDENTS TO UNDERSTAND THEIR AUTHORITY IN JESUS: Our students carry the same divine Spirit that resurrected Jesus from the dead. Empowered by their authority through Jesus, they have the ability to heal the sick, raise the dead, and cast out demons. We are called to bring heaven to earth and see the Kingdom of God operate here on earth. We are raising up a generation of students who tirelessly carry forward the mission started by Jesus. As Matthew 16:19 says, “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.”
