We believe our kids are not too young.
Though they are young, we believe that our children are not too young to experience the presence of God. Just because they are smaller, doesn’t mean they get a smaller Holy Spirit. At FC Kids we provide a Spirit-empowered and Christ-centered experience for our children. We believe that Sunday morning and Wednesday night kid’s ministry is a valuable part of a young believer’s life. We are constantly encouraging and teaching our children that the Holy Spirit inside them is just as powerful and effective as He is in every adult. They are capable of walking in their identity as a child of God and operating with the Kingdom Authority that we are given through the work of Jesus Christ.
We offer age-appropriate classes for all children from 9 months through 5th grade on Sunday mornings, as well as Wednesday night ministry for kids in 1st through 5th grade.
Where do I take my kids?
Every Sunday at 10 am, bring your kids to the FC KIDS check-in station. Not sure where that is? No worries! It is located to the left of the lobby as you walk in our front doors. When your family comes for the first time, we can give you a tour of the space, and introduce you to your kids’ teachers for the day. If you have kids ages 9 months through kindergarten, you can drop them off then. If you have any elementary-aged kids, they will stay with you during worship and then Pastor Brad will release them to their teacher after worship.
Secure Check-in/out
Safety is a top priority for us. During service, the kid’s wing remains locked and we have a security team member posted at the front door. If you need to get your child early, you can either talk to a welcome center team member or the security team member at the door. They would be happy to check your security tag and then walk you back to your child’s classroom.
To pick up your kids after service, you will go to our kid’s check-out door, located near the bathrooms, at the end of the hall. When you check your child in, you will receive a security tag with a special code on it that corresponds to the code on your kid’s tag. When it is your turn to receive your kids, an FC KIDS volunteer will take your security tag and bring you your kids. NOTE: Only the person with the security tag will be able to pick up the kids.
