Jesus was a revolutionary.

He changed everything: the way people prayed, the way people encountered God, the perspective that people had about what was truly valuable, and perhaps greatest of all, He changed our understanding of our Heavenly Father.

When He began His earthly ministry, He confidently proclaimed everywhere He went, "the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand." Not only did Jesus proclaim it, He demonstrated it. He opened blind eyes and deaf ears, brought the dead back to life, and cast out evil spirits. He walked with power and authority, yet He would stop to give His time to one sick individual, one person in need, or one child who needed His attention.

In proclaiming and demonstrating the Kingdom of Heaven, He revolutionized the world! It made the religious leaders jealous and intimidated the political leaders. But, His teachings brought great hope to the masses. He simply called people to love God and to love others. Not only did He call them to this lifestyle - He demonstrated it!
